Bernardo Riekert, engineer at Rovic, introduced a new hydraulic plow this year during Grain SA NAMPO 2014 at Bothaville in the Free State.
According to Riekert, the hydraulic cylinder operation of the plow tines breaks away from the old leaf spring approach in order to provide better performance, but also a more sustainable product.
The new hydraulic system is available from the DLB 12 to the Super 32 ripper tooth.
