Speaking at the launch, Francois Oelofsen, key account manager for Shell Commercial Fuel, introduced Shell’s new and innovative diesel formulation, Shell FuelSave Diesel, which is the result of extensive development and testing. It has been designed to help address several key challenges that operators face. Prioritising engine cleanliness for efficient and effective operation, our new deeper cleaning formula takes our fuel technology to the next level.
Shell FuelSave Diesel tackles three types of deposits. It targets and removes fuel Injector Nozzle Deposits (INDs) and Internal Diesel Injector Deposits (IDIDs), which is unique to Shell. It is also designed to help protect Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) systems from deposit build-up. By helping to protect fuel injectors and EGR systems from deposit build-up, our new formulation helps to reduce the need for costly replacement of critical engine parts.
Shell FuelSave Diesel cleans more thoroughly than ever before to achieve 83% power recovery and help you get more out of your vehicle. It has been proven by experts to help save up to 3.75% of fuel. This means lower operating costs, so you can do more with less.
