DriZ is water resistant and comes with a laminated UV protective coating. This coating however has limited abrasion and tear resistant properties. The base of the fabric is knitted using a special polyethylene material, more commonly known as plastic. As DriZ is a knitted plastic product it will, when exposed to heat, tend to shrink nominally.
DriZ has a five-year manufacturer’s warranty against UV degradation and weighs 280 grams per square meter. They come in rolls of 33 m and is 3 m wide.
