Rudi Kruger, National Sales Manager of Stihl South Africa, mentioned at NAMPO Cape 2024 that Stihl South Africa is a subsidiary of a German company and is 98 years old this year.
“Stihl has the best quality products that last many years. From homeowners to commercial owners to farmers, we have products for all applications. A farmer does not want to buy something today and in two years the parts are no longer available, so we guarantee the availability of parts,” he says.
Stihl has introduced three new products this year:
MSA300 chainsaw
The saw is a powerful tool for commercial use and is a battery product, making it very convenient.
Backpack blower
This battery blower makes the work even easier and lighter by sitting on your back and being able to clean a large area.
RE 130 electric high-pressure washers
These washers are very popular because they can be used to wash your car, truck or tractor, reach high windows, and especially clean your solar panels. The hose is 4 metres long and has a storage space on the side for the nozzles and cables.
Stihl also offers a solar panel cleaning kit. The 1,3 to 4 m telescopic lance plus brush is designed to connect to the high-pressure washer to clean your solar power system. These brushes are ideal for South African conditions and for more specialised attachments and cleaning solutions.
