Young people are the future of agriculture, this is what CASE IH believes. This is why they make an effort to keep young agriculture students informed about the latest and most exciting technology on the market.

During NAMPO 2024, a group of agriculture students visited the CASE IH exhibit to learn more about the technology.

CASE IH knows technology. They have a connection room where they can monitor all their machinery and tractors and their operation via GPS. This was the first stop for the agriculture students.

The agriculture students listen attentively to information about the new technology on the market.

The connection room is equipped with screens all around to monitor all movements and real-time statistics.

Diederik Husselmann, Manager of Connected Services, gives a brief overview of CASE IH’s connected services: “On the manufacturer’s side, we can monitor all the machinery across the South African fleet. This is to reduce downtime.”

There is another section that monitors the CASE branches and dealers. The purpose is to contact the farmer as soon as possible to resolve issues.

CASE IH’s equipment was thoroughly examined by these eager young students!

These two systems work together to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible for the farmer.

CASE IH’s technology is cutting-edge! Esmond Coen, a precision technology specialist, explains how the collection of agronomic and machine data works: “We use high-tech equipment in our vehicles. The information is sent from the farm and interpreted online.”

The agriculture students received an enjoyable lesson on the precision technology currently available on the market and on CASE IH’s equipment. “We want to transfer all the information to keep them informed for the future,” says Esmond.
