Daniel Dames, product specialist at CASE IH, talks about the implements they exhibited at Balfour Hay Day this year.
First up is the famous RB455 variable chamber baler that won the Baler Race last year. This baler is equipped with a 2.3 m pick-up. In the bale chamber there are four endless belts. It can make bales from 900 cm to 1.5 m high. Farmers love this baler for its exceptional capacity. These implements come with an automatic oil system to keep all the chains wet.
Daniel also elaborates on the 125 Maxxum tractor. This particular tractor comes with a 16 x 16 Powershift gearbox and 115 litre/minute oil pump.
The WD1905 windrower was also demonstrated at the Balfour Hay Day this year. The windrower is equipped with a 190 horsepower engine. It is an oil powered machine and everything is adjustable from the screen. The twist cutter is designed in such a way that the blades are easily replaceable with just one spanner.
