Rovic offers a wide range of Krone balers for farmers to choose from, making their baling work on the farm easier.
Mickey Matthee, Technical Manager for Rovic in Cape Town, will share more about their various balers at NAMPO Cape 2024.
The balers are designed so that the ejected bales land softly and do not get damaged.
Inside the balers is also a central lubrication system that ensures your chain is oiled, guaranteeing a longer lifespan for your equipment. Krone balers are well known for their low maintenance and high performance.
The Fortima F 1250 round baler is very popular and has a higher capacity of 2,05 m. It is available with or without blades. The blades can be adjusted between zero and 17 and can be controlled from the cabin. The toothless pickup system is a well-known feature of Krone’s other larger balers.
Their Bellima round baler forms nice bales and is a versatile machine that can be used for any crop.
The Comprima round baler can bale anything, has two augers, with or without blades, and also features the toothless pickup system. However, these blades may incur stone damage.
The Varipack V165 round baler is a newer addition to Rovic’s range. The baler is suitable for baling silage, hay, and straw. The new chamber baler is designed with high density and performance in mind. The baler is designed to make bales from 80 cm to 165 cm.
At the front of the baler is the well-known Easyflow Pickup system. The baler is powered by a chain on both sides of the baler and is equipped with a central lubrication system and grease bank, making maintenance easier.
The baler is also available with a larger V190 bale chamber.
The Big Pack 1270 baler is the second largest Krone baler in the Rovic range. It ties two knots to finish one bale and start the next. The baler is 1,2 m wide and 0,7 m high and can be equipped with a scale and moisture meter.
There is an even larger Big Pack baler, the 1290. This specific baler was introduced in South Africa two years ago. All of them share the same parts, but its operating costs are much lower than that of its predecessors.
The Cicoria square balers have pickup widths ranging from 1,4 m to 1,6 m, and are specifically designed to meet the requirements of smaller farms with low horsepower tractors.
The baler also features high performance, low costs, and easily accessible parts.
The quality of the straw in the bale remains consistently the same, thanks to the adjustments on the fork.
