Jaco du Preez, marketing manager of New Holland for Southern Africa, tells us more about the new T-7 tractor series from New Holland.
The T7.260 is the largest tractor in the range. Two other tractors in the series are the T7.230 and the T7.235.
The machines are available in two gearboxes: the power command and the CVT gearbox.
This series is based on the current T7000 series that it replaces, but many changes have been made, such as the styling and the cabin. One of the changes is the hydraulic flow which has been boosted from 150 to 170 liters per minute. Lifting capacity has also been increased from 9 tonnes to 10.5 tonnes. This tractor is also available with electronic valves, where the previous range was mechanical. The fuel tank has been enlarged, but is also a different type of tank that is more efficient in reducing fuel consumption.
