Tubestone is founded on the core family values of honesty, integrity and trust, and their employees depict these values on a daily basis.
Each of the branches, five in South Africa and one in Namibia, are managed based on a first-rate telesales department.
Tubestone’s sales representatives make sure to visit retailers on a regular basis to handle any queries or requests in person that may arise, as well as to follow up on how the various products are doing in the market.
They are also investing in Tubestone’s employees to ensure that each department is an expert in their field. Tubestone also does not hesitate to deliver customer’s products to their front door. So, whether it is a remote village or the busy city, the skilled Tubestone team is ready to get your order to you.
Tubestone’s humble beginnings:
Founder and current Managing Director, Pieter Kruger saw the opportunity to set up a distribution company that is known today for offering world-class tires and tire-related products to the market.
Tubestone started trading on 2 April 2001 as a company that imports tubes and flaps. Not long after, the product offerings to retailers expanded to include OTR, industrial, agricultural, implement, truck and passenger tires. Just five months after the first offices were opened in Cape Town, another branch opened in Johannesburg.
The Durban office opened its doors in 2002 and in October 2004 the Bloemfontein branch opened. Three years later, the Port Elizabeth offices were opened and shortly thereafter in 2007, the offices in Namibia were opened. With branches spread across Southern Africa, this enables the Tubestone team to service retailers from all over.
The team has been assembled as carefully as possible to ensure that the individuals within the company form something like a family, who are also experts in their individual departments. Tubestone also believes that customers should be treated as respected friends and that they will walk the extra mile for them.
