Jacques Taylor has been appointed as the new Managing Director of CNH Industrial AG & CE SA as of 1 October 2022, taking responsibility for the leadership and development of the CNH Industrial AG & CE group in Southern Africa.
Jacques will head both the agriculture and construction segments for both the CASE IH and New Holland brands and play an influential role in building on each division’s already outstanding reputation that the previous management and its divisional managing directors have established.
CNH Industrial represents both the agriculture and construction segments through its well-known equipment brands and parts divisions.
With over 20 years of industry specific experience and holding various leadership roles and high-profile positions, Taylor brings a strong skillset and an excellent reputation for high performance, team leadership and relationship building. He is known as a creative strategist, and a decisive leader and has an impressive record of achieving revenue and business growth objectives.
His ability to bring out the best in his team by creating a healthy and pleasant working environment will further contribute to the growth of the company and instil a positive culture in the workplace and in the market.
Until recently, Jacques has held the position of Divisional Managing Director: Case IH since the acquisition of South African distributor Northmec by CNH Industrial in January 2021. His early experience includes the banking and finance sector where he held various director and management positions at Standard Bank’s agriculture division (including Head of the Agriculture division), after which he started his career in the agricultural equipment industry in Africa and Europe.
According to Jacques, the company is focused on strengthening its market-leading position in tractors and combine harvesters while expanding the precision agricultural technology platforms. Continuous attention will be given to aftersales support and dealer network strengths. More importantly, the company will focus its energy on a company culture where the customer is at the centre of its strategy, ensuring that local producers feel at home when dealing with any of the CNH Industrial brands.
The company takes great pleasure in welcoming Jacques to this important position and looks forward to his energy and expertise making a difference. The company would also like to commend him on his contributions so far and for the growth, he has brought to the Case IH division.
We wish him well in his new position and we are confident that he will make a significant contribution to the growth and success of the CNH Industrial Group.
