Three lucky farmers each won an AGRICOLLEGES course in collaboration with TLU SA.
Michael Otto’s course is Introduction to Animal Production, while Hendrik Prinsloo won the Introduction to Plant Production. Chantelle Visser’s course of choice is Introduction to Agricultural Business.
The courses start on 7 February 2023 and the duration for each is seven weeks. The value of the courses – which will be offered in Afrikaans – is R4 400 each.
“TLU SA strives to keep farmers safe and sustainable on their farms. With this competition in collaboration with AGRICOLLEGES, we are helping three farmers to be even more competent in their vocation,” says Mr. Bennie van Zyl, TLU SA General Manager.
These courses are ideal for new farmers, recent school leavers or even established farmers who want to refresh and improve their knowledge of agricultural practices.
AGRICOLLEGES International intends to translate all its courses into Afrikaans in order to offer the students who would like to study in their mother tongue the opportunity to improve their knowledge and training. AGRICOLLEGES developed the learning concept by creating an e-learning platform that accommodates students with their agricultural studies via computers and mobile devices. These learning opportunities are available worldwide, depending on the student’s accessibility to the Internet.
AGRICOLLEGES International is AgriSETA accredited and accordingly offers one year accredited National certificates in General Agriculture, Plant Production, Animal Production, Plant Production (Cannabis & Hemp) as well as various relevant short courses and skill development courses in agriculture.
AGRICOLLEGES are very proud of their more than 1700 alumni from 40 different countries.
