When farming and working on the farm, a farmer wants to do it in comfort, without sore and tired feet. Australian Redback boots need no introduction to South African farmers.
Trappers, the proud distributors of Redback boots, had once again showed their famous boots to farmers at NAMPO.
Lukas Venter, Area Manager of Trappers, welcomed visitors to their NAMPO 2024 stand, and of course a big attraction was their Redback boots.
The imported Australian shoe’s quality, comfort and familiarity were certainly the reasons for the quick turnover during NAMPO.
Lukas explains that these boots are definitely the best investment (except for a good tractor, planter, and plough) for any farmer: “A boot you can wear every day with a padded sole (for comfort) and stretchy sides for easy on and off.
“One characteristic that stands out is that the full-grain leather cleans very easily. Trappers also sells leather food (‘boot food’) which contains bee wax, and this can be used to nourish the leather, keep it supple and to clean the boot perfectly,” Lukas added.
The sole consists of double polyurethane which offers resistance to oil and acid and the insole can be replaced if necessary.
The heel and toe section is built up and reinforced, offering extra safety as well as comfort and keeping your foot firmly in place.
Although it is not a steel toed boot, you can be sure that it will protect your feet well.
Lukas says that the shoes are all-rounders.
From farming to weekends out with a pair of jeans or khaki pants – these boots look good and can round off any outfit, making you look decent, without even trying hard!
If you missed the opportunity to get your comfy Redbacks at NAMPO, you can get them at any Trappers store nationwide, or you can place an order online.
