Every year curiosity builds to see what the well-known Agri businesses will be exhibiting at NAMPO Cape and for Irrigation Unlimited it was a display that was both practical and interactive – one that engaged many attendees.

Irrigation Unlimited is a service-oriented trader that distributes products to the South African markets through a network of agents. The company was established in 2003 as the marketing arm of Wahl Industries, and is the sole distributor for Wahl, Sime, Vyrsa and Ocmis products in Africa. Henko Cilliers, the Branch Manager in the Cape, speaks about the new drip series produced by Afriq Water: “The display we created focuses more on horticulture and small-scale farming. We constructed a presentation of the drip line here, we consider this specific display to be the small garden set. There are also 100 meter boxes that cover 180 m², 300 meter boxes that cover 540 m² and of course the agriculture driplines are also available.”

Movable pipe systems

  • The system uses a locking mechanism that is easy to understand and use, as well as to release and fasten
  • The system can be used to support other irrigation systems, for example drag line and drip line systems as side lines, or be used on its own as an irrigation system or as main lines for water transport
  • The system consists of HDPE pipes, normally 6 m (Afriq Water can manufacture in various pipe lengths)
  • The system has been used in all weather conditions for over 40 years. Protected from UV rays and robust, the pipes can withstand sweltering summers, bitterly cold winters and everything in between.
